Paradoxically, nowadays, outside of Japan, his name is more often attached to the Zelda series, one of his earliest works – from 1989 to 1995, he was a regular contributor to the North American magazine Nintendo Power for which he did many artworks, including illustrations for Link’s Awakening and A Link to the Past. ![]() He became famous in the West in the early 2000s with the release of the movie Blood: The Last vampire for which he designed the main characters, his cover girls and his huge artbook “Rakugaking”. Terada has worked on about 50 games in the past 30 years.
